Together for biodiversity – an initiative of Wageningen University

Global biodiversity issues can only be addressed through an integrated (evidence-based) scientific approach, and success is based on the collaboration of scientists, the business community, government institutions, citizens and civic organizations.

The Wageningen Biodiversity Initiative (WBI) is a global framework that has been created between different scientific teams to make a strong and meaningful contribution to “turning the biodiversity loss curve” backwards, in a positive direction.

The initiative aims to connect and inspire both transformative research and education, in order to collectively develop an inclusive society in nature.
