On Monday 14 March, the Directors of VMBO and MBO in Terra Emmen signed a cooperation agreement whereby students can obtain a VMBO-basic and MBO level 2 diploma in five years. The aim of this learning pathway is to provide a proper transition to the labour market and prevent dropouts.

The pilot project has been running for six months and the first positive results for students are visible.
